New Website Launched for Peter Waters Engineering

We’ve recently launched a new WordPress website for Peter Waters Engineering, a Wexford-based metal fabrication and welding business known for high-quality gates, railings and bespoke metalwork.

The goal was to create a modern, mobile-friendly website that clearly showcases the range of work, helps visitors find the style they like quickly, and makes it straightforward to request a quote.

Peter Waters Engineering operates from Boderan, Co. Wexford and supplies and installs gates and railings across the South East.

About the client: Peter Waters Engineering

Peter Waters Engineering specialises in custom metal gates and railings, with additional services including welding repairs, galvanised gate solutions, bespoke fabrication and automatic gates.

A key differentiator in their process is the use of CAD-based visualisation so customers can review designs before fabrication begins.

The objectives for the new website

This project was designed to support three practical business goals:

  1. Show the workmanship clearly with strong imagery and a dedicated project gallery.

  2. Help customers browse by preference, using a clear structure for styles and design features.

  3. Increase quality enquiries by guiding visitors on what information to send when requesting a quote (measurements, photos, location, and style ideas).

What we delivered

1) A structure built around how customers choose gates and railings

For a trade business, users typically do not want to read long pages of generic copy—they want to browse examples and narrow down quickly. We implemented clear navigation around gate and railing styles (e.g., modern, traditional, farmhouse, wooden, railings), supported by design-detail pages.

2) A project gallery that builds trust fast

The website includes a dedicated project gallery highlighting completed work, finishes and real-world installations.

For trades and engineering businesses, this is often the most persuasive content on the site—proof of quality in seconds.

3) A straightforward quote pathway (especially on mobile)

The site encourages enquiries with a clear “Get a Free Quote” flow and prompts visitors to provide the details that help the client price accurately (type of gate/railings, measurements, photos, design ideas, and location).

This reduces back-and-forth and improves lead quality.

4) Process pages that explain “how it’s made”

Two pages that strengthen customer confidence are the process-driven pages explaining consultation and precise measurement, CAD visualisation, fabrication, finishing (including galvanising/painting), and installation.

This content is useful for visitors and also supports SEO by adding unique, relevant information that competitors often skip.

SEO foundations included in the build

For a non-ecommerce trade site, the priority is to ensure:

  • The core services are clear (gates, railings, fabrication, automatic gates)

  • The location and service area signals are unambiguous (Wexford + South East)

  • The site structure supports long-tail searches (styles, galleries, FAQs, and process content)
